My background

I am a Specialist Orthoptist with over 10 years experience of training and working in the NHS, now providing aesthetic treatments in Halifax.

I am responsible for the assessment, diagnosis and management of patients of all ages who suffer from chronic and acute eye movement disorders. This includes specialist assessments to detect serious neurological conditions such as: acquired brain injury, multiples sclerosis (MS), idiopathic intracranial hypertension (ICH), stroke etc.

 

 

 

Additional Experience

In addition to this I have also gained post-graduate certification from Moorfields Eye Hospital in London as a Specialist Medical Retina Intravitreal Injector.

I have trained alongside Consultant Ophthalmologists to learn how to expertly inject Anti- Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (Anti-VEGF) medication inside the eyes of patients who suffer with serious sight-threatening eye conditions.

I am still a practising Medical Retina Specialist Injector at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.

Our Values

As someone who is a firm believer in life-long learning, my specialist injector skills led me to want to expand my professional knowledge and skills further by undertaking further studies and training to become an Advanced Aesthetics Practitioner.

I am fully qualified and trained to perform all facial non-surgical aesthetic procedures using both dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections. I now provide aesthetic treatments in Halifax to a wide range of people.
